American Dental Association Foundation Dental Assisting Scholarship
Program
This American Dental Association scholarship provides a one-time award of $1,000. Applicants
are required to be enrolled full-time with at least 12 credit hours at an authorized dental assistant
program. Applicant is required to submit an autobiographical sketch. Applicants are required to be citizens
of the United States with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. Application materials are available in
the financial aid office of the school where the student is currently enrolled. Applicants must prove
financial need of at least $1,000.

Award: This ADA scholarship is for use during freshman
year and is not renewable. Number: The number awarded is up to 10. Amount: The amount awarded is up to
$1,000.
Requirements for Eligibility: The applicant is
required to be enrolled or anticipating to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year school. The applicant must
have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. This ADA award is only available to citizens of the United
States.

composition, personal references, autobiography, and financial need assessment.
