Anna May Rolando Scholarship Award

The Anna May Rolando Scholarship Award scholarship grant is awarded to a student in Nursing who has a disability.  Undergraduate students who show a commitment to help other people with disabilities are given priority,

An annual award of $500 is given to one student who has not let his or her disability get in the way of pursuing a degree in Nursing.

Academic Discipline/Career Aspirations:  Nursing

Eligibility:  Applicant should be an American citizen who is enrolled or plans to enroll full-time at a four-year college or university and getting a degree in Nursing. Only students who are physically disabled, learning disabled, visually impaired and hearing impaired are eligible to apply.

Award Details:  The scholarship can be used for freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years in the  undergraduate level. It can also be used for graduate, or post graduate studies.  The amount awarded is $500 annually and only one awardee per year is chosen to avail of the scholarship.  This is a non-renewable scholarship.

Application Requirements:  Completely filled application form with an attached essay composition, official school transcript of records, and personal references.
