Association of Peri-operative Registered Nurses Scholarship Grant

This scholarship program is only open to Registered Nurses (RNs) who are members of the Association of Operating Room Nurses for at least a year prior to application, and who are seeking to obtain an advanced degree in Nursing. 

Applicants who are still working towards a Registered Nursing degree are not required to be members of the Association of Operating Room Nurses.  Former recipients can reapply for this award.

Academic Discipline/Career Aspirations:  Nursing

Eligibility: Applicants should be enrolled or are planning to enroll part-time or full-time at a two-year or full-year nursing degree program at a college or university.  The applicant or a parent of the applicant must be an Association of Operating Room Nurses member. Only American citizen students with a minimum GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 are eligible to apply.

Award Details: This scholarship may be used for undergraduate studies (from freshman to senior years). There are about 90-100 scholarship grants awarded every year, ranging from $500 to $5,000 per student.  This scholarship is non-renewable.

Application Requirements:  Completely filled application form with an attached essay composition, official school transcript of records, and personal references.
