Eight and Forty Lung and Respiratory Nursing Scholarship Fund

The Eight and Forty Lung and Respiratory Nursing Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Registered Nurses (RNs) who desire to continue their education in order to further their careers in teaching, supervision and administration.

All applicants should already have prospects for employment in any hospital, clinic or health department once they finish their education, specifically in the fields of respiratory and lung health. 

Academic Discipline/Career Aspirations:  Nursing

Eligibility: Only students who are citizens of the United States, and are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university are eligible to apply.

Award Details: The number of awards given varies every year, ranging from 1 and 22. This award can only be used during junior or senior years. The scholarship amount is $3,000 per student and is non-renewable.

Application Requirements:  Completely filled application form with an attached essay composition, official school transcript of records, and personal references.
